Fish and Chips Story — The Story of Us

So labor day weekend was a nice relaxing one, we went home to the family in WV and got to see mom and dad and dave and betsy and corbin and on saturday Alora had her first trip to grandpa’s shop and we got to see my cousin John Allen and Donnie Pritt,, who Alora covered in apple cookie. On Monday morning aunt pat came by to see alora before we left too!

 It was a pretty relaxing weekend which was nice, it rained most of the days and was chilly so pants and socks were a requirement, but other than that it was just a nice break!

Yesterday i had my first trip to the library and it was great! I got lots of books and a couple of goodnight moon movies too! Angie and Kaitlyn came with me and mommy and we had a grand old time!

There are only two days left until Penn State kicks off against Akron. I am a little nervous about how we will do this year after loosing Mr Robinson at the helm, but I know Jopa is the man and we will have a good run this year.23 days unitl, what is for me, the most important game of the year, OSU. Living in Columbus I get a lot of flack from my OSU fan friends. We beat them last year and I dished out a lot of crap. If PSU looses this year I will take it like a man but it doesn’t mean I have to like it.

WE ARE…PENN STATE!!!

We took Alora to have her 7 month pictures taken yesterday.  We took her in a little brown sundress, a cowboy hat, and her great-great-grandfathers sadle.  I think I may just spend my entire paycheck on prints of these pictures.  I can’t wait until we get them and can put them on line for you.  They are so cute, and I am not just saying that because she is my daughter.

I had my first pancake today.  Daddy was making them and I was looking at them longingly so mommy stole one and gave it to me.  Daddy makes rockin pancakes.  I really liked it but I wanted the sticky stuff they put all over it, and they wouldn’t let me have any.  Oh well, it was good anyway.

We are getting ready for School to start again getting all of our Students back into school.
I am looking at going back to school myself.  Since I didn’t actually get a “degree” from my bible college.  I think I will be going back to Franklin University here in town.  I am researching now to see who would be best for me.
Plus work and being a new Father, so many things to do and so little time.

How hard is it for us to understand God’s purpose for ourl life? To rest always in His perfect peace knowing that He has the plans for our lives.  Yes as you can tell i’m in a very introspective mood, stavesacre helps with that,, not getting me in that mood but hashing out everything that rolls around inside.

 So God i’m yours,, what more can i say? reveal to me your plan for my life so that i may follow it, kill what you must and revive what is dying.

I know it is crazy, and I would never pay for it, and I am sure that my company didn’t pay for it but I am now sitting in an $1100 dollar chair. No that isn’t a typo that is eleven-hundred dollars. Isn’t that crazy?
