10 Months & Terrorizing

So over the past month not a whole great deal has changed. Alora has about 10 imaginary friends and can’t wait for it to be warm enough to play outside every day. Zoë has taken her first few steps, but only when she is not paying attention, if you want her to, forget it. She has 4 teeth on the top and two on the bottom with 2 more on the bottom trying to come in. Which in her mind means that baby food and formula isn’t for her anymore and she should move on to whatever everyone else has on there plate. So, once the pantry gets rid of all it’s baby food I think we’ll have to be done with it, because she is moving on. We’re still working on getting the hang of a sippy cup, but it’s coming slowly but surely. If she could just figure out to suck instead of blowing on it when she gets it in her mouth, but who knows,, she’ll get there soon enough! And then I will miss holding her in my arms feeding my baby girl, because oh did i mention I also just cleaned out her drawers because “lil missy” can’t fit in her 12 month britches, she’s too tall and her sleeves are too short,,, so on to 18 months, which unfortunately means a new wardrobe, I think i’m out of clothes,, oh noooo! So a shopping we will soon go!  But more on that next month!

Oh and there are new pics up,,, the funny ones of guns and jason drilling holes is my homework for my photography class and jason making a worm compost bin from scratch!

9 months & Nostalgic

WOW has it really been nine months since our newest edition came to town? It seems like only yesterday she was a wiggly little one who couldn’t do anything for herself. Now she’s a wiggly little one that can crawl, cruise, set on her own, stand on her own (for 5 seconds), eats table food and has 4 showing teeth with 4 more peeking through. And her first ear infections, it will take allot though to catch up with her sister.

Well the past two months has brought us growth and chaos, Zoë is at 19 lbs. and 31 inches (just 6 behind her 3 year old sister). Along with lots of fun. It’s amazing to see the love that Alora has for Zoë each day, from giving her toys to feeding her to dancing in front of her to make her smile and laugh. Which no one can make her laugh like her big sister.

And speaking of the big sister Alora, her imagination is blooming like crazy. I mean i may have been creative as a child but this little one has imaginary friends and dragons living with her every day! I did good for Strawberry Shortcake and my Barbies to carry on conversations and splash in the pool. Alora can give them voices and make sure they never run out of things to say.

The snow and cold has brought allot of stir crazy, but luckily Alora has big girl class at her play gym which means she gets dropped of for two straight hours to play without mommy. I really thought it would be harder than it is, but she loves it soo much there is no way i could be sad.

So catch up on all the rest of our lives and chaos with the January posted pictures!

Da Da Da

Since Heather probably won’t tell anyone, I thought I would just say that Zoe started saying Dada two days ago.  It was especially cute because at the same time she has started shaking her head “no” so that is what she does when Heather asks her to say Mama.  She shakes her head and says Dada 🙂

Paper Monster

Why you don’t put your child in the laundry room to sleep in her rubbermaid bin with a full trash can of newspaper setting beside her……

7 Months & Sassy!

7 months, can you believe it! I can’t but of course by now I expected to have a figure back other than round, but who knew that was so much harder than it sounds.

So this past month has been soo full of big firsts:

First two teeth (that’s right 6 months and two teeth)

Zoë got her ear’s pierced (video of that in the video gallery, and yes she stopped crying as soon as i gave her pretzel)

Crawling, yup that’s right she was so determined while at Nana Minear’s house to keep up with the other kids she decided to stop rolling and start crawling (why oh why did i wish for this, no i keep losing her, behind the couch, in the bathroom with the door closed, under the spare bed,,, did i mention she gets around!

And last but not least lots and lots o solid food from Thanksgiving and our first Christmas, everything from sweet potato casserole and mashed potatoes to green bean casserole and applesauce,,, yum yum who wouldn’t love Nana’s?

But that’s all from this crazy month, now on to December, more firsts and our second Christmas at Nana Fisher’s,,, wish us luck!

Too proud, it brought a tear to my eye…

So the weekends are always chaos in the Fisher household, no matter how much we say it’s the Sabbath. But this Sunday had it’s bright shining moment. Jason and I were upstairs getting ready for house church and Alora and Zoë were downstairs being frightfully quite. When I came down to see the lack of noise. Alora was laying on our coffe table with a whole spread of little books reading to Zoë. She said “P says ppp, R says rrrr” (she was reading an alphabet book with animal pictures.) And there her little sister was just completely engrossed and oblivious to me even being there staring deeply at her sister and taking her one on one time to heart. Now if that doesn’t tug a heart string I don’t know what will.  I pray there future is this wonderful as sisters.

Pics & A Camera Junkie

So We Have October Pics up!  It’s a small sampling, which i think you will all be greatful for, because once the November pictures hit i’m not sure what you’ll do with them all. This is all for two simple reasons…

1) November is TURKEY TIME, that means it’s time to give thanks, hunt deer, watch football and get the most adorable pics around of my niece and nephew, also this year Thanksgiving will also be Christmas with my family. So it’s tow holidays rolled into one. Can you imagine the photo opportunities?

2)I just got my Christmas present (yes i know it’s early but as i just mentioned my first Christmas of the year is in two weeks and i have to learn how to use it before then) A brand new DSLR. Now for those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s a fancy high falutin digital camera that requires lenses. It’s a Canon Rebel Xsi to be completely exact. So not only will i have high class holiday pics (hopefully) but i’ve been playing around with it to learn it’s basic features. Which means that no one is safe from the lens. Now can you imagine the number of photos that will be up for November?  Plenty to make up for the lack of October.

So enjoy the Halloween and apple picking pics and i’ll supply you with more than enough to oogle and google over in November!

6 Months & Off the Charts!

Well at least that’s what the doctor says. We had Zoë’s 6 month check up full of shots and screams, but on the other note she is 76% for weight and “WAYYYY off the charts for height!” Looks like Zoë will be taking after her big uncle Jeff. Do I see a modeling career in the future? Or at least a beginning to thinner thighs on her, I mean really i can’t put my fingers around “tonka truck’s” thighs.  That just means more for the lovin though.

I do think every day that i am getting closer and closer to the two is enough theory. Two kids, two parents, two arms, two seats in the backseat,,, it’s like it was made to be this way. Any more and i’m scared of what may happen,, maybe then i wouldn’t have to get a perm and see if my hair would fall out, i think it would naturally do it on it’s own. but God Bless my husband,, he still wants his boy,, now granted i don’t understand, but,, not sure if i can do another,, and besides what if it’s a girl?  but more on this discussion later.
